Do you offer same-day delivery?

Yes — same-day delivery is our core service. Once your booking is confirmed, we dispatch a driver as quickly as possible to collect your item and deliver it directly to its destination.

What hours do you operate?

We operate 7 days a week and can accommodate early morning, evening and out-of-hours collections. Contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

How is the price calculated?

Our pricing is simple and transparent — a fixed call-out fee of £40 plus £1.40 per mile. You can get an instant estimate using the postcode calculator on our homepage.

Are there any hidden charges?

No. The price you are quoted is the price you pay, based on the distance between collection and delivery. The only additional charge that may apply is a waiting time fee if our driver is kept waiting beyond the free 15-minute allowance.

What is the waiting time charge?

We include 15 minutes of free waiting time from the agreed collection time. After that, a charge of £8.99 per 15 minutes (or part thereof) applies. You will be notified as soon as the free period has elapsed.

Do you offer account billing for businesses?

Yes. Business customers can apply for a monthly account. Invoices are issued at the end of each month with payment due within 14 days. Contact us at sales@blissaroo.uk to discuss setting up an account.

Is VAT included in your prices?

All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT where applicable. Your invoice will clearly show any VAT charged.

Do you transport medical specimens?

Yes. We provide a dedicated medical courier service for blood samples, pathology specimens, pharmaceuticals, surgical instruments and other healthcare-related items across North West England.

How do you handle sensitive medical cargo?

Our drivers are trained to handle medical cargo with care and full discretion. Items are transported in a dedicated vehicle with no other deliveries sharing the space, ensuring your cargo arrives safely and on time.

Who is responsible for packaging medical items?

The customer is responsible for ensuring all medical items are correctly packaged, labelled and sealed in accordance with applicable regulations before collection. Please provide any specific handling instructions at the time of booking.

Can you collect from hospitals and NHS sites?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our small vans are well suited to hospital environments — they can access tight loading bays, navigate restricted car parks and park close to collection points, minimising time on foot with sensitive cargo.

Can I cancel a booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancellations made more than 1 hour before the scheduled collection time are free of charge. Cancellations within 1 hour may incur a fee of up to 50% of the booking price. If a driver has already been dispatched, the full call-out fee is payable.

What happens if my item is lost or damaged?

In the unlikely event of loss or damage, please contact us at sales@blissaroo.uk within 7 days of the delivery date. We carry goods in transit insurance covering up to £10,000 per consignment.

What items do you not accept?

We do not transport illegal substances, firearms, explosives, live animals, human remains, or any item that poses a risk to the health or safety of our drivers or the public.
